Managed DMARC is a hosted service that lets you create, monitor, and update your DMARC policy from a single dashboard. It protects your domain from spoofing by enforcing authentication checks on inbound email.
Log in to your Palisade portal, navigate to the “Managed DMARC” section, and click “Add Domain.” The wizard will guide you through selecting a policy and generating the required DNS record.
Begin with the monitoring mode (p=none). This lets you collect reports without affecting delivery, so you can see who is sending on your behalf before tightening enforcement.
Palisade generates a CNAME record that points to our validation service. You’ll need to add this CNAME to your domain’s DNS zone.
Open your DNS management console, create a new record of type CNAME, paste the Name/Host and Value/Target supplied by Palisade, and save the entry.
Yes. If you use Cloudflare or similar services, turn off the proxy (orange cloud) for the DMARC CNAME record so the lookup reaches Palisade’s servers.
Return to the Palisade portal and click “Verify.” The system will check the DNS entry; verification usually takes a few minutes.
In the “Managed DMARC” dashboard, select your domain, choose a new policy (quarantine or reject), and click “Apply Changes.” Palisade updates the DNS record automatically.
Remove the CNAME from your DNS zone and delete the domain entry in the Palisade portal. This stops DMARC enforcement for that domain.
Palisade aggregates aggregate and forensic reports in the “Reports” tab, presenting them in easy‑to‑read charts and raw XML files.
